Diwali gift ideas for employees that people actually keep
Diwali gift ideas for employees in India: what to put in the box, how to pick a budget, how to brand it and when to order so it arrives before the festival.

Every Diwali, offices receive a mountain of dry fruit boxes that look the same. The ones people remember usually do one of three things well: they taste genuinely good, they include something that lasts, or they come with a note that feels personal.
Build the box around one hero item
Pick one item that carries the box, then add a few things around it. The hero could be a brass diya, a good candle, a serving tray or a keepsake box. The dry fruits and sweets then feel like part of a gift rather than the whole of it.
A Diwali box that works
- One hero keepsake: a diya, candle, tray or decorative box
- Dry fruits or nuts, roasted or flavoured for a change
- Mithai or artisanal sweets with a sensible shelf life
- A note card from leadership
Choosing a budget
There is no right number. What matters is that the box looks complete at its price. At lower budgets, fewer and better items in a sturdy box beat a crowded box of fillers. At higher budgets, spend on the keepsake and the packaging, because that is what stays.
Browse by budget: under ₹1,000, under ₹2,000 or under ₹5,000.
Branding without overdoing it
A printed sleeve or a foil stamped lid with your logo, and a ribbon in your brand colour, is plenty. Keep the products inside unbranded, so people use them at home without feeling like they are carrying an advert.
When to order
Lock your order at least three weeks before Diwali. Packaging, dry fruits and courier slots all get tight in the last two weeks, and you want time to approve a mockup without rushing.
